How can I lose weight fast without exercises?

You could starve yourself but you will feel like crap and pile the weight on when you start eating again.
Why do you say "without exercise"?
Really, healthy eating only goes so far, and you need supplement it with an active lifestyle. You will only lose weight if the energy you consume is less than the energy you use, so you can eat low cal, but the rewards won’t be as great as if you also use more energy.
It’s basic science I am afraid.

Not sure what you are asking . . once the cancer is metastatic it hitches a ride in the blood stream and lymphatic system . . meaning it can go anywhere in the body and set up new cancer colonies everywhere.

With colon cancer complete surgical removal of all visible disease along with chemotherapy to try and control the mets would be one goal.

I really want to lose about 30 pounds from my weight and i need help but i don’t want to go unhealthy. i weigh 152 and i should weigh 120 i believe… wats a perfect, healthy diet i should follow and if it means i need to exercise (which i know i do) tell me how long each day and how many days a week.

I know how you feel! What works for me is healthy eating and excersize. Don’t go mad on the dieting, you will only put the weight back on straight away. When I want to loose weight fast I eat cereal for breakfast, fruit for lunch and have a small healthy meal in the evening. I also would jog 3 times a week, go for some walks and do some toning stuff. Try to loose 1-2 lb per week, it might not sound much, but you can keep that amount of weight off, and it adds up. At that rate you will loose a toatal of 8-16 lb in two months. Good luck!

Ketosis weight loss diet for vegetarians?

I am trying to start a ketosis diet to lose weight but I am a vegetarian. What are some good foods that I could eat? I read egg whites and cheese are good and protein powder, but no nuts. My main protein income is usually nuts and beans. Are beans still ok? And it says to up the fat intake. I only get about 5% of the daily fat as it is and barley lose weight. Uping the fat doens’t make sense.. How would that help me lose weight? I do not want to take meds or anything to induce ketosis.

Beans are too high in carbs to throw you into ketosis (unless you’re hardcore at working out).

Some foods you should stock up on are… (in net carbs)
- Macadamias (1.5 for 12 nuts)
- Yves veg hot dogs (~2 per dog)
- Firm tofu (7/100 g)
- Almonds (2.5 for 23 nuts
- Edamame (10 for 1 cup shelled)

Any hard cheese is fine; just have one thumb sized stick of it max per day. Also, whole eggs are less than 1 carb per egg. Meat analogues tend to be good choices, too, just read the labels carefully.

Fat – the fat satisfies your hunger and keeps up your calories – you’re not trying for starvation. Also, you’re trying to convert from carbs as your energy source to fat burning.

How to lose as much weight FAST in a week?

My brother weighs around between 210-220 pounds. I am helping him out so what are some good tips to lose weight fast within a week. What I am looking for is what foods to eat each day and how much of it. Also what excercises he can do at home to speed up the process. Also some ways to trick your body into losing more weight like for example if you excercise your upper body one day then excercise your lower body the next day, it can trick your body or something.

1. First start by getting up earlier than usual. Around 5:30 AM to do some of you workouts. Getting up early shocks your metabolism because the body needs more energy to get going. Right? This will start your system on the road to weight loss. That early start with about 10 minutes of stretching. Have a cup of coffee to get the blood going also.

2. Do all the sit-ups you can. Just do them. 15 or 20 whatever, we don’t have a lot of time to work with. Rest 1 minute repeat, do this for 6 sets. Already you are breathing hard and feel worn, because the body is working extra hard at being up earlier and then going right into exercise. If the early morning hour lets you get your cardio in, go ahead and do it. 30 minutes.

3. Diet. Cut all current meal portions in half, just cut them in half, nothing fancy or complicated, CUT IN HALF! Cut out all bread products, all gravies, candies, chips, night snacks, etc. If you crave at night eat a banana, other fruit or best a non-fat yogurt. There are some tasty ones out there.

4. In the evening do another 6 sets of sit-ups maxing out each set. Cardio again. The trick is to stay with getting up earlier. Yes it’s hard, that’s why it is so effective. Why do you think the Army gets up so early, it is intense training to the max.

I am trying to lose weight, and I need to go grocery shopping. I plan to do some aerobic exercises every day, but I also need to eat the right foods. What should l eat, and what should I avoid?

Should eat: carrots, celery, any type of vegetable basically besides white potatoes. Keep white potatoes in moderation. Fruits, granola, almonds, cashews. Any nuts really. Air popped pop corn with hot sauce and low fat Parmesan cheese. Whole Wheat bread,turkey burgers, yogurt, egg whites, peanut butter, cereal with at least 5 grams of fiber per serving,& skim milk. Tuna, fresh chicken, turkey etc.

Should not eat, but in moderation: Cookies, Jellies, Any fast food, french fries, pies, sugary cereals, whole milk,white bread. Etc.. Really any foods that are high in sugar and carbs are just used for quick energy. Use your calories wisely on high protein and low carb foods. Eat every 2 – 3 hours and make sure you get 30 minutes of exercise 5 days a week .

I can give you some tips about weight loss and exercise that I know to be effective. With the following tips you should lose 1-2 pounds or more depending on your level of exercise. Remember it is not good to lose weight too fast because if you lose the weight fast, you will gain it back fast as well.

Here are some tips and guidelines for weight loss:

You should first calculate your Body Mass Index (BMI) and your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR). These are two important tools that will become the foundation of any healthy diet plan. I will include links below for you to do this.

In case you don’t know, your BMI determines if you are in a healthy weight range and allows you to set goals for how much weight you should lose to achieve that healthy weight loss goal. Your BMR tells you the amount of calories you need daily to MAINTAIN your current body weight. You should try to cut that number down by 500-1000 calories depending on what the original number is. Remember males should not go below 1500 calories a day and females should not go below 1200 calories a day.

Are brazil nuts good for weight loss diet?

Say I have 60g worth, which contains 42g of fat, 10 of which are saturated.

Bearing in mind I’m not getting much fat from other foods in my diet. And these are good fats right, if I have a 60g serving with 40g berries twice a week is this OK?

Nuts in a diet are good for a protein hit, but bear in mind that one cup of most sorts of nuts is your entire recommended fat allowance per day. They’re good but don’t go nuts (haha!!!) each day. What you’re doing now, having them twice a week with berries, is perfectly fine!

Im starting school in august and i need to lose weight because i am gonna try out for the volleyball team and i don’t want to feel uncomfortable about my body. I have been eating fruits and excersing a little. But im wanting to lose weight fast. Any advice? Thanks :)
